How to use ERTACZO
ERTACZO is a prescription antifungal cream that has been proven effective against the three major organisms that cause tinea pedis, a.k.a. athlete's foot. Here are some simple steps to help you get the most out of your medicine.
  • Carefully wash and dry the affected skin, especially between toes, before using the cream. Make sure you dry your skin thoroughly.
  • Apply ERTACZO to the affected skin and its surrounding area twice a day, or as prescribed by your doctor or dermatologist.
  • If a reaction occurs suggesting sensitivity, stop using ERTACZO and see your doctor.
  • Wash your hands after applying ERTACZO.
  • Do not bandage the area unless your doctor tells you to.
  • Use ERTACZO for four weeks, or as recommended by your doctor. Don't stop treatment early, even if it looks like your athlete's foot has cleared up. Even though it looks like it's gone, it may not be.
  • If your athlete's foot is not better by the end of the treatment time or if it's getting worse, see your doctor.
You should always use ERTACZO as directed by your doctor or dermatologist. This cream is a topical medication, which means it is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth or other mucous membranes.
